GRANCHIO – permanent formwork for ventilated crawl spaces
Granchio is a permanent formwork made of 100% recycled plastic, used for the construction of ventilated crawl spaces, suitable both for new buildings and for renovations.
In crawl spaces built with Granchio, excellent ventilation is ensured through the correct placement of special ventilation pipes. This leads to the elimination of humidity and the dispersion of radon gas, in compliance with the Reccomendation of the European Commission dated 21/02/1990.
Granchio features a simple and intuitive interlocking system, and its rectangular shape provides a larger surface area compared to similar products on the market. This means fewer pieces are required per square meter, significantly speeding up installation.
The special polyolefin blend it is made of allows the element to safely withstand the weight of operators during the concrete casting phase.

RADON GAS PROTECTION
In compliance with the European Commission Reccomendation of 21/02/1990, ventilated crawl spaces built with Granchio permanent formwork ensure excellent ventilation through the correct placement of ventilation pipes, eliminating humidity and dispersing radon gas.
SINGLE CASTING
Granchio allows savings and efficiency by enabling concrete casting in a single phase.
SAFETY DURING INSTALLATION AND CASTING
As a permanent formwork, Granchio is designed to withstand the weight of both operators and concrete during the casting phase.
ELIMINATION OF RISING DAMP
Creates a vapor barrier, with no contact points between the concrete and the soil, and ensures proper breathability of perimeter walls.
AMPLE SPACE FOR SYSTEM INSTALLATIONS
Its hollow shape allows the placement of pipes, ducts and cables in any direction.
A1) The lean concrete casting must be R.c.K. 150 with a thickness of ... cm, to create the installation base for the permanent formwork called Granchio.
A2) For loads higher than 4000 Kg/sqm and/or for buildings in seismic areas, the subbase must be R.c.K. 150 with 06 welded mesh, 10x10 spacing.
B) Supply and dry installation on the prepared base of rectangular permanent formwork in plastic, type Granchio, cm ... Installation must follow the directional arrows.
C) Possible supply and installation of an angular plastic profile, ... cm, designed to prevent concrete overflow during casting.
D) Supply and installation of reinforcement consisting of 06 welded mesh, 20x20 spacing.
E) Supply and casting of R.c.K. 250 concrete to fill Granchio and create a slab of ... cm thickness.
F) Granchio may show noticeable color variations due to the use of recycled plastics.
