SUB PRO & SUB ONE – modular formwork for lightweight slabs
Sub is an innovative modular permanent formwork made of recycled plastic, used for the construction of lightweight two-way slabs.
This new element has been completely redesigned by PROJECT FOR BUILDING to deliver higher performance in replacing traditional lightweight fillers such as clay blocks and polystyrene. The elements allow the creation of flat slabs thanks to conical support feet. The soffit of the slab is automatically flat and ready for plastering, without the need for suspended ceilings.
The elements are available as single or double units. The four different heights can be combined with each other to meet a wide range of structural requirements. All pieces are supplied with adjustable feet and spacers.
The SUB element is made from a 100% recycled polyolefin blend.

Construction of a reinforced concrete slab with bidirectional load-bearing capacity, lightened with SUB elements, to be cast in place on suitable horizontal temporary formwork.
The total slab thickness is ... cm, lightened according to the project with SUB recycled plastic elements, size 52x52 cm, height ... cm, with conical support foot facing downward, height ... cm.
Supply of reinforcing steel bars with bidirectional mesh, diameter and spacing according to design loads.
Supply and installation of SUB elements with their respective joint spacers, for the creation of orthogonal beams between voids, according to the preset thickness, ensuring perfect geometry and stability during casting.
