The Project tree: thirty years of evolution, technology and people

On 16 May 2025, in the beautiful setting of Castello degli Angeli in Bergamo, Project For Building celebrated its thirtieth anniversary together with more than two hundred people, including employees, partners and representatives of Confindustria Bergamo.
It was an intense evening, full of emotion and meaning, in which we chose to celebrate not only a milestone, but a journey.
At the centre of the event was the symbolic construction of a tree: an emblem of Project and of our production philosophy, rooted in sustainability and growing through research and innovation.
Each branch represented a key value, including resilience and the value of people, and at every stage of the evening those who had contributed to making this growth possible took the stage: technicians, workers, directors and collaborators.
A collective recognition, reminding everyone that the success of Project For Building has always been built together.
The leading figure of the evening was Giancarlo Zanini, founder and CEO, who over these thirty years has been able to combine industrial vision with human sensitivity, transforming an intuition into a virtuous business model.
Today, the company can boast a production cycle that is unique in its kind: from engineering to recycling, through to the in-house production of construction systems in regenerated plastic and manufacturing por cuenta de terceros.
Our process does not simply “do sustainability”; it puts it into practice through technology, expertise and mutual trust.
This journey is also told through the official video of the thirtieth anniversary, “From waste to finished product”, a short documentary retracing the history and vision of Project For Building.
It is a visual story that offers a close look at the integrated production process, from plastic recovery to the finished product, and at the evolution of our company, which has made transformation and technical knowledge its identity.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Project For Building, discover the journey of plastic waste: from waste to resource.
And for our future?
After thirty years of experience and research, we look ahead with the same spirit that has guided us from the very beginning: transforming material into value.
We want to continue building a future in which innovation and sustainability are not goals in themselves, but practical tools serving designers and construction companies that aspire to the highest standards.
A sincere thank you to everyone who has come this far with us, one recycled brick at a time 🌿
